Toddlers, a age group of 1 year to 4 years, have lots of amazing things to know. They are super cute at this stage, have lots of curiosity to know everything, too much tantrums to show, and whatnot. Here, I am sharing some of their unique facts that you will be amazed to know. Read on to learn some interesting facts about your toddlers.
Learn everyday new
From the birth to three years of age, the brain of a child is developing and learning new things faster than any other time of their life. It is also true that your child’s brain is processing a lot. Some children are able to talk and express, some do not speak clearly till the age of three, therefore try to give them a break. Do not force them to do anything which they do not like and also try to understand their big emotions in the form of a tantrum, meltdown, shouting, or power struggle.
A lot of energy
You might get surprised with the energy of your toddler. Did you know an average toddler expends the same amount of energy if an adult ran 48km. Toddlers are super active, walk and run all the time because of which they expend lots of energy.
Picky eaters
Since, as I said, they expend lots of energy, therefore toddlers need healthy and energy rich foods. Though, it's not an easy task for mums to feed a toddler, as most of the kids at this age are picky eaters. It may be frustrating, but it’s perfectly normal.
Just introduce new foods, decorate your recipes and make them interesting. Also always remember, diets of your toddler must be healthy and always give home made food. This way they will learn to eat home made healthy foods and avoid eating junk.

Ambidextrous
Toddlers somewhere between the age of 2 to 3 years can write on both hands. Isn't it amazing? Haha but at the same time it's confusing as well. For parents like us, it becomes difficult to guess sometimes whether their child will write with right or left hand.
My daughter is 2.4years old and writes with both her hands, though she doodles most of the time. But she exerts the same amount of pressure with both hands while holding a pen or pencil. Also she writes with left and holds her playing toys with right, which confuses me a lot. But yes I am not alone, do let me know in the comments if your toddler also does the same.
Grow so fast
Growth of babies and toddlers is at a faster rate than adults. If a child continues growing at the rate it does in the first year, he or she will be 170 ft tall by adulthood. During the first 6 to 8 years of life are very important for a child's growth and development. Nutritional foods and a good healthy environment is necessary for a better physical and mental development of a child.
Better hearing ability
Babies and toddlers have a very good hearing ability and they can quickly respond or tell where a sound is coming from. Hearing toddlers are much better than adults.
