Immunity Balls For Toddlers & Kids- Ginger Turmeric Jaggery Immuno-booster Laddu


We as parents are always in search of immunity booster food for our babies and kids. Therefore, today I am going to share with you all a very quick no cook recipe which is a tasty immunobooster ladoo. As you all know the Indian kitchen has a variety of immunity booster superfoods, so we will use the healthy spices to make these immunity balls which your kiddo will love to eat. Read on to know how to make the Ginger Turmeric Jaggery Immunity balls.


Ingredients we need:

  1. Jaggery: 2 tbsp

  2. Turmeric/Haldi: ¾ tbsp

  3. Black pepper powder/ Kali mirch powder: ½ tbsp

  4. Ginger powder/ Soth: ½ tbsp

  5. Honey: ½ tbsp

  6. Desi ghee: ½ tbsp (prefer homemade ghee)



Procedure:

  1. Always use jaggery powder, if you do not have you can grate the jaggery to make the laddoo.

  2. Mix all the dry ingredients well in a bowl or a plate.

  3. Slowly pour the honey and melted ghee and mix it properly.

  4. Mix everything with your hand so that no lumps are there.

  5. Now the dough is wet enough to bind together.

  6. Make a small ball out of the dough you made. A small tip, if your hand is sticky while making the dough wash your hand and then make the ladoo. In this way you will be able to make smooth balls.

  7. Store the immunobooster balls in an airtight container. You can easily store it for 8-10 days at room temperature. Do not keep it in the refrigerator.

Note

  • Always make in small batches and store in an airtight container.

  • These immunity balls are suitable for the kids above 18 months.

Turmeric is being studied for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also very effective in boosting immunity. Ginger black pepper is also great for the immune system. These immunity balls are not only good for babies and kids but for adults as well. Take two balls everyday in the morning and nights. In the current pandemic situation, it is absolutely important to maintain a good lifestyle and follow a healthy nutritious diet. And adding these few species in your diet will definitely help you and your family to boost immunity and help in fighting against the virus.
